Arsenal gegen bayern, Kimmich has replaced Costa online casinos ohne download the home side. Lots of Arsenal supporters going home. Harsh but funny from Twitter's David Schneider:. Plenty of fans want him to go but what will he do next? New england patriots spieler Brown Adam Johnson is an emblem of football's broken soul. What would cause Wenger's sacking? Arsenal throw, from which they win another.
This, and poor marking from a corner for the second, are making this feel like a compilation of Arsenal's favourite goals to concede. Arsenal 0 Bayern 2 Muller No surprise.
Bayern corner, Van Buyten escapes the half-hearted attention of Mertesacker, Szczesny saves, but Ramsey on the post seems to almost move away from the line, allowing Muller to tap home from close range.
This is looking horrible for Arsenal. Arsenal can't get an error-free foot on it, even in their own half. They do have a goal kick, though.
And it's back in Bayern possession almost immediately after a thoughtless hook upfield from Arteta. Here's a lovely fellow in the Bayern end:.
Mertesacker lax again, clearing straight to a man in black when looking for Arteta. Vermaelen booked for an over-exuberant sliding challenge on Kroos, it's another Bayern free kick in dangerous territory.
Lahm just about keeps him out and Bayern are almost instantly back in numbers, forcing Arsenal backwards. Deflects off the wall. Vermaelen on the ball, crowd still giving Arsenal laudable support.
It fades after Vermaelen delays his clearance, is closed down, and concedes a corner. To answer the question of what Arsene needs to do to get sacked This Week Wenger has done a huge something!!!
This week he has done something He is in it for the fight! In Arsene We Trust! Arsenal 0 Bayern 1 Kroos Ominous movement and speed of thought as Bayern work it to Muller on the right flank.
He flashes a cross towards the edge of the box. Slightly fortunate to find Kroos on the end of it, but Toni Kroos' finish is sublime, smashing the ball into the ground and giving Szczesny no chance.
Ramsey made a half-hearted clearance which deflected it to the German. Not really good enough against a side of this calibre. It comes to little, but it's an encouraging start for the home side, their fans are roaring them forward with a sense that they can get something from this.
Clive Tyldesley is pronouncing his surname as if it rhymes with "close". I'm sure he's correct, but I'd much prefer it to be "Kroooooooz". Wiolshere heads his delivery away, in any case.
He prods it towards the danger area, and Dante stabs it back towards Neuer. Somewhat fortunate not to steer it into his own net, but the keeper deals with it.
This is not the case. My colleague Lucy Kinder is at the game this evening:. Bayern fans seem to be burning a bonfire in the stands.
Not sure that's health and safety approved. What would cause Wenger's sacking? Losing at White Hart Lane the weekend after this. Just the four men in the studio, gearing up for a tough minute long shift:.
I shall say it's going to be a victory for Bayern Munich. I've gone from "Arsenal are going to get battered" to "Everyone's saying Arsenal are going to get battered so maybe they'll draw" then to "everyone's saying Arsenal will draw because everyone was saying they're going to get battered, so I think they're going to get battered".
It's a scientific but infallible method. ITV are giving us 15 measly minutes of build-up for tonight's game. Once again, Adrian Chiles is dreaming what it must be like to be Jeff Stelling.
Never mind Adrian, I'm sure you'll get the Countdown gig one day. It's not all bad for the TV viewer, either. Jonathan Liew is having a lovely time:.
Jonathan Liew - Watching Emmerdale for the first time. Are soaps contractually obliged to begin every episode with a shot of a guy working beneath a car?
Ally Shaw - So it's a Bayern club against a Sellin club this evening. He's had a look at tonight's programme, too:. One wonders what goes on in the boardroom at Arsenal.
If you are Kroenke, Usmanov et al, is your primary objective to see Arsenal succeed in terms of money or trophies?
If Arsenal fans are genuinely disappointed with Wenger's lack of silverware then it's time they made their dissatisfaction felt by staying away from the Emirates.
In modern soccer, money talks and fans have more power than they think. FEAR for Arsenal, who might very well lose the game.
Because top-level players are frequently in the habit of admitting they're very scared of their opponents. But really, how frighening can Bayern Munich be?
Here's the first, from the group stage in In which Arsenal are very nice, then very naughty:. What would Wenger need to do to get sacked? Walk out to the centre circle tonight and have a massive poo, that or shoot the ref in the head.
Might be off then, but I wouldn't bet on it. What Wenger's former players have won since This may appear to rather undermine the "football's not all about winning trophies" tone of the several thousand words below, but is, you must concede, very pretty to look at and click on.
Like a particularly temperamental teenager, Wenger needs little prompting when he's in a bad mood. Seemingly innocuous rumours about a new contract set him off yesterday in a press conference in which he appeared to have neither calmed down nor been to bed since embarrassing defeat to Blackburn in the FA Cup at the weekend:.
This would be cruel if Wenger was indeed a sulking character played by Harry Enfield in the s. But Wenger is not, and should know how the media works by now.
We are obviously going to be delighted every time someone prominent loses their temper, and every time it happens it makes it more tempting to rile the person again in an attempt to get another story out of it.
It's a vicious circle, much like Arsenal's current money-saving spending-averse declining-quality modus operandi which has seen them slide further and further away from relevance since the move to Ashburton Grove.
Their decline is much like that of The Simpsons. Capable of almost transcendent genius at their peak, the two dribble on listlessly primarily as a way to make money, a pale imitation of their former selves.
Arsenal have a plush, but frequently quiet new ground. The Simpsons has stunning but inert HD. Neither has anything like the hit-rate of their glory years.
The struggles of Arsenal are delicious for lots of supporters of other clubs because Arsenal's fans, online at least, can be amongst the most shrill and unpleasant.
As with plenty of supporters from other major teams, there's a sense of entitlement among Arsenal's online contingent that's hugely distasteful for supporters of the 88 or so league clubs that don't have expectations of winning games regularly, let alone silverware.
That expectation of success has always baffled me, as a supporter of a team that beat it out of me within about 10 games of first identifying with them.
It's so boring, isn't it? Where's the fun of getting acclimatised to being among the 16 best teams in Europe and routinely beating Aston Villa at home?
The Arsenal fans I know that actually go to matches are hugely frustrated with the way their club is run, worried about Wenger further tarnishing his legacy and depressed about the same failures in their team repeatedly going unaddressed and seemingly getting worse.
They don't carp on about being also-rans or laughing stocks, the language of the reductive phone-in and dunderheaded messageboard, because they realise that Arsenal don't have a Richard Scudamore-given right to always be on top.
Some can remember two other eight year gaps without a trophy in the not-too-distant past, from and Others have the intelligence to realise there's more to being a supporter of a football team than being able to trade witless insults with someone in your workplace that happens to support Spurs.
Sure it's not pleasant at the moment, and there's no doubt that things are badly wrong at the club, not least the infuriating stubbornness of Wenger and the profit-first mentality.
But things could be far, far worse. They may get far, far worse tonight, with a team from Germany aptly providing yet more schadenfreude. I expect some crack-papering with a good performance before being outclassed in Germany, confirmation of another season without a trophy.
But also a season that has featured a win against Reading, a win against Spurs, a win against Newcastle, European football, Santi Cazorla and quite a nice kit.
Those are more happy memories from one campaign than many teams accrue in a decade. It might make some Arsenal supporters happier if they could appreciate that.

Meanwhile, Kimmich has replaced Costa for the home side. Gabriel is a lucky boy. The striker goes down in a heap on the floor and is helped to his feet but nothing is given.
Maybe the referee is just feeling sorry for Arsenal at this point. Coquelin off, Giroud on Wenger is going attacking here but I fear it might be too late.
Giroud, who has scored three goals in his last four games against the Germans, is on. If he can grab another it might give the Gunners hope for the second leg.
It has to be said that Bayern have been much the better team tonight. Arsenal Fan TV is going to be great tonight. Definitely worth staying up for.
Walcott on for Iwobi Wenger makes his second sub, chucking on Walcott for Iwobi. Meanwhile, Ospina saves again from Vidal to keep the score down.
And in case you were wondering how anonymous Iwobi was tonight Bayern Arsenal Thiago Oh dear. The Arsenal keeper has played well tonight but still let in four.
And this game has got away from the Gunners really quickly. The tie in general is slipping away from them too.
They need to stem this flow of goals. What a reflex save from Ospina. Bayern hit the bar! That was nearly four!
